Ben Noble is the Herbert Nicholas Junior Research Fellow in Politics at New College, University of Oxford. His primary research interest is the policy-making process in authoritarian legislatures. Specifically, his current research examines how factionalised executive actors with divergent policy preferences use legislative institutions to reconcile conflicts in the policy-making process. One aspect of this research involves analysing amendments made to executive-submitted bills in contemporary Russia.
