Bjarke Frellesvig

Bjarke Frellesvig is a historical linguist specializing in Japanese. He has worked on the reconstruction of proto-Japanese, and on the phonology, morphology and syntax of the oldest attested stages of Japanese. Since 2008 he has been strongly involved in corpus based studies of pre-modern Japanese, as the Director of the Oxford Corpus of Old Japanese which is being built at Oxford.
