Elisabeth Bolorinos Allard is a doctoral candidate in Spanish at Trinity College, Oxford. She obtained her BA in History at UC Berkeley and her MSc in History at the University of Edinburgh. Her thesis explores Spanish constructions of Moroccan Muslim and Jewish culture in relation to constructions of Spanish identity during the colonial campaigns in Morocco (1909-1927) and the Spanish Civil War.
