Images of Humanitas Visiting Professorships Trinity Term 2016

The Weidenfeld-Hoffman Trust and The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities are excited to announce next term's stellar line-up of Humanitas Visiting Professorships, with leading figures from literature, art history, drama and music.

The Humanitas Visiting Professor in Historiography 2015-2016 is world renowned art historian Simon Schama. Events featuring Simon Schama are on the 9th and 11th of May. The Humanitas Visiting Professor in Drama 2015-2016 is award winning playwright Tom Stoppard. Events featuring Tom Stoppard are on the 18th and 19th May. Musical innovators Sérgio and Odair Assad have been announced as the Humanitas Visiting Professors in Classical Music and Music Education 2015-2016. Literary scholar Marina Warner has been named as the Humanitas Weidenfeld Visiting Professor in Comparative Literature 2015-2016.
