My current research on Brazil is focused on transitional justice, particularly the efforts at legal accountability for past human rights violations and the truth commissions.  I am also working on accountability for business involvement in human rights violations during the dictatorship and have an article in Portuguese coming out soon on the topic.  I have conducted research in the past on capital-labour relations in Brazil, armed right-wing movements, confessions of perpetrators of past state violence, and the amnesty law.
