A part-time post to support an AHRC funded research network

"Michael Hatt and Joanna Marschner have achieved AHRC funding for our HRP/Warwick collaborative research network ‘Fashioning Victoria: curating royal image for dynasty, nations and empire’. The financial framework allows for the recruitment of a part-time temporary Project Assistant. We hope to find a worthy interested candidate who can start working on a one day a week basis from August 2018, until June 2019. The daily rate is £95, pro rata. The post will be based in principle at Kensington Palace, London, but there will be occasional (funded) travel elsewhere.

The candidate will provide administrative and organisational tasks in connection with the set up and running of three academic workshops, up to three research seminars and an international conference. These will draw together scholars internationally and the candidate will have responsibility, with support, for travel and accommodation arrangements. The events are held both within HRP venues, and within venues provided by project partners – The Royal Collection Trust, Oxford University and the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art, London. The candidate will help with the liaison and coordination between the project partners.
