Professor Anna Sapir Abulafia, Chair in the Study of the Abrahamic Religions, is convening the annual seminar in Abrahamic Religions together with Dr. Martin Whittingham on Mondays, 5-6:30 in Hilary 2018, at Lady Margaret Hall. This year's theme is Tolerance and Toleration, and will include talks by Sarah Mortimer, Minlib Dallh, and Gavin D'Costa, among others. The seminar will culminate in a Graduate Colloquium on May 1-2, 2018 at Lady Margaret Hall.
Graduate students from any faculty are invited to apply to join the Seminar. Those selected will be expected to attend each Seminar in Hilary and to deliver a short paper at the Graduate Colloquium in which they will be encouraged to explore the topic of ‘Tolerance and Toleration in the Abrahamic Religions’ within the context of their own research interests. Lunches and a festive Colloquium dinner on 1 May will be covered by the Seminar.
