Stephanie is currently a DPhil research student in the Classics Faculty at Oxford. Her current project works on the integration of music with the sphere of classical reception (specifically the poetry of Catullus in twentieth century music), working to find a mutually beneficial and non-preferential methodology for engaging the two. She gained two simultaneous bachelors degrees (one in music and one in Latin) before working as a professional 'cellist for ten years. She decided to undertake a DPhil after the publication of her undergraduate thesis on 'Dittersdorf’s Twelve Symphonies on Ovid's Metamorphoses'.
