Supported by the Bodleian Libraries and the Humanities Division, the Head of the Centre for Digital Scholarship and Digital Humanities Research Support is an exciting University-wide role. We are looking for a leading figure with a strong international reputation to shape the strategic direction of the Centre, to play a pivotal role in Digital Humanities at Oxford including as Director of its summer school programme, and to contribute to the wider development of Digital Scholarship across the University. Applicants will be senior professional staff with experience of working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders, and with a track record of strategic project planning. A first degree in a subject or discipline relevant to digital scholarship and/or humanities is essential, as is demonstrating a track-record of leadership in, and delivery of, collaborative projects, knowledge of the issues and trends in digital scholarship/humanities, and a proven ability to develop strong collaborative relationships with academic and professional staff at every career stage.
