Heritage Pathway MT20: booking now open

Heritage Pathway is a flagship series of the Researcher Development and Training Programme, designed and led by Oliver Cox and Alice Purkiss of the Heritage Partnerships Team. It offers participants the opportunity to develop their understanding and engagement with the UK and international heritage sector through a programme of termly activities and cohort development events.

Last year, in its sixth iteration, Heritage Pathway welcomed over 500 participants to 11 workshops and site visits, with speakers spanning publicly-funded museums, private collections, policy-making bodies, charities and research institutions. The impact and legacy of Heritage Pathway is attested by the success of its alumni who have chosen to pursue a career in the heritage sector or forge academic collaborations with heritage organisations, many of whom we welcome back as speakers to our workshops!

This year, Heritage Pathway has been updated and refreshed with a new format and scope. Three online sessions per term will be structured as follows:

  • Session 1: Current Issues in Arts & Heritage
  • Session 2: Workshop with external partner organisations
  • Session 3: Careers in Arts & Heritage

The programme for Michaelmas Term is now live and we warmly invite all members of the University of Oxford, from undergraduates through to permanent post-holders, to join us.
