VACANCIES: Business Engagement and Partnerships Manager for Social Sciences and Humanities

Are you fascinated by the intersection of the academic and business worlds? The Social Sciences and Humanities Divisions at Oxford are looking for two outstanding proactive, professionals with commercial insights to broker and build partnerships of mutual benefit to both researchers and external partners.

You will work as part of a close-knit team to establish a new business engagement and partnership support function for two divisions of the University (Humanities and Social Sciences). With a track record of developing partnerships involving a diverse range of stakeholders, you will support the delivery and secure funding from various sources. You will be based at the Social Sciences Divisional Office, Hayes House, 75 George Street, Oxford.

To be successful in this role, you must understand, translate and balance academic values and the needs of external partners and businesses and have a track record in building relationships which engender trust. Using strong diplomatic, interpersonal skills you will facilitate effective collaborative working, cooperation and partnerships, and support academic and professional staff, at all levels. You will deliver multi-partners projects in a complex organisation with successful outcomes for all. You will be educated to degree level or the equivalent, preferably in a Social Sciences or Humanities discipline.
