TORCH Global South Visiting Fellow Karin Amatmoekrim will speak about her research into prize-winning Dutch Surinamese columnist, correspondent, essayist, journalist, and TV and radio host, Anil Ramdas.
The aim of the seminar is to foster a dynamic and interdisciplinary postcolonial research culture supportive of indivdual scholarship. Finalists, MSt and DPhil students, lecturers, fellows, scholars from across the University community - all are welcome. Seminar attendees are warmly invited to stay on afterwards for a drink, and/or to accompany the visiting speaker to dinner.
