Connected Life 2015: Our Digital Society is a conference at Balliol College on 4 June! This is an interdisciplinary and international event not to miss. Connected Life 2015 is a day-long student-run conference dedicated to sparking exchange between disciplines and showcasing emerging internet research. Bringing together participants from across the humanities, social sciences, and physical sciences, Connected Life will foster collaborations within and beyond Oxford in pursuit of an enhanced understanding of the internet and its multifaceted effects.

We recommend booking your ticket early: The £10 fee covers entry to all sessions and workshops, lunch in Balliol Hall, refreshments throughout the day, and the drinks reception at the end of the conference.

Our keynote speaker is Daniele Quercia, who researches chatty, happy, and smelly maps. More speakers and the programme will be announced on our website and Twitter soon, and we're about to launch a series of blog posts showcasing the research that will be presented! We'll also release a podcast interview with Daniele in the upcoming weeks.

Supported by the Balliol Interdisciplinary Institute.
