Towards an Intellectual History of Black Women

The Astor Lecture 2016, Professor Barbara Savage (Geraldine R. Segal Professor of American Social Thought Professor Africana Studies, University of Pennsylvania)

This roundtable discussion will include short responses from historians from a variety of perspectives:
Ben Jackson (University College, intellectual history,
Glenda Sluga (University of Sydney and All Souls College, international history) and
Senia Paseta (St Hugh's College, women's history).
The session will allow plenty of time for discussion, and will be followed by refreshments.
