In September we will be hosting our inaugural conference at Oxford (online and in-person pending covid-19 restrictions – provisional date Friday 17th September). The day will bring together researchers on the region to discuss current projects, establish connections, and spotlight areas for collaboration. We welcome proposals for 20-minute papers from researchers of all disciplines within the humanities, arts, and social sciences. Potential topics could include, but are not limited to, the following overlapping topics: insiders and outsiders, space and place, temporality, and power.

All proposals should include a title, an abstract of no more than 250 words, and a brief speaker biography of no more than 150 words. They should be submitted to jana.hunter@history.ox.ac.uk and dylan.price@music.ox.ac.uk by no later than 8th August 2021. You will know the outcome of your submission by the 15th August 2021. We will share the programme at that point, and other attendees may sign up for the conference by 10th September 2021.

If you like to register your interest in attending, please email us.
