We plan to establish an interdisciplinary group, connected with the 'Rethinking the Contemporary' network, interested in presenting work in progress on the intellectual, cultural and ideological aspects of the post-Cold War period. We hope it would include historians, political theorists, philosophers, anthropologists, literary, cultural and area studies specialists, and others working on the study of ideas, very broadly defined and using a wide range of approaches.
