Heritage Pathways: Curating Historic Collections After COVID-19

This session will explore – from the perspective of three Early Career Curators – what the role of the curator will look like after COVID-19, reflecting on the potential impacts on collection care, exhibitions and displays. The session will also provide career guidance for those looking for a curatorial career and discuss the structural challenges and financial pressures that influence career development.

This session will focus in particular on the curation of paintings, decorative art and historic house collections.
