oxford university heritage network

The Oxford University Heritage Network will be hosting two parallel workshops to support the formation of successful grant applications for the recent JPICH ‘Conservation, Protection and Use’ funding call
(application deadline: 3 September 2019).
The JPICH call supports collaborative, interdisciplinary, transnational teams to develop strategies and tools to preserve and protect cultural heritage and/or to improve sustainable access to cultural heritage.

The two workshops will bring together a wide range of postdoctoral and academic University staff to discuss ideas and possible research partners with the aim of gathering teams to submit successful bids for funding.

The research topics proposed for the two workshops are:
Topic two: “Sustainable protection and enhancement of values”,
with a focus on Heritage and Wellbeing
&
Topic four: “Layered conservation”,
with a focus on Industrial Maritime Heritage Sites
