TORCH Network Globalising and Localising the Great War is hosting 'Nineteen Fourteen and the Enigma of Casual History' the Second Oliver Smithies Lecture with Professor John Horne. John Horne is emeritus Professor of Modern European History at Trinity College Dublin and Visiting Professor at Balliol College. This is an open lecture organised by Balliol College.
