Nathaniel (Yue Kiu) Chan is a Master of Business Administration candidate at Saïd Business School and Green Templeton College. Before coming to Oxford, Nathaniel served the City of Toronto as a Research Analyst and prior to that, as a Social Media Analyst for one of Canada’s “Big Five” banks. During his undergraduate years, he also worked as the Vice-President International of a registered HIV/AIDS charity and as the Managing Editor at TakingITGlobal, a social network aimed mainly at youth to generate awareness and encourage action on the global issues of our time. At Oxford, Nathaniel is currently Co-Chair of the Asia-Pacific Oxford Business Network and an Oxford Network of Peace Studies Steering Committee Member. He is also quite active on Meetup, founding and organizing the city’s first virtual reality interest group (Oxford’s Virtual Reality Crowd) and a highly successful intercultural friendship group back in Canada (The Chinese-Japanese Friendship Society). Nathaniel’s career interests are to help the world become better connected and applying innovative business practices to tackle humanity’s most pressing challenges.
