The TORCH Comparative Criticism and Translation Programme and St Anne's College organised a series of events as part of their 'Oxford Translation Day' which happened at various venues across Oxford on Saturday 11 June 2016. The Oxford Translation Day was a celebration of literary translation consisting of workshops and talks throughout the day. It culminated in the award of the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize. Oxford Translation Day was a joint venture of the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize and Oxford Comparative Criticism and Translation (the research programme housed in St Anne's and The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities) in partnership with Oxford German Network, and Modern Poetry in Translation. Theophilus Kwek has written a review of the day, which can be read here.
