Common Ground Journal is seeking article proposals for its third issue, "Fluid Boundaries".
We invite proposals of ~300 words that explore and interrogate the hegemonic and, ultimately, constructed nature of boundaries in all contexts from any discipline.
Possible themes include, but are not limited to: fluid concepts of identity, nationhood and borders, post-colonial and decolonial thought, and challenges to the limits of genres, subjects and fields.
Common Ground Journal is a peer-reviewed publication run by both postgraduate and undergraduate students at Oxford. We publish academic articles focused on exposing the legacy of empire in universities, decolonising curricula and anti-racist scholarship more broadly. We welcome proposals from students, academics and those working in community activism.
To submit a proposal, please click here.
Deadline for article proposals: Friday 15 February 2019.
