Dr Oliver Cox Appointed as a Trustee of the Churches Conservation Trust

Dr Oliver Cox, our Heritage Engagement Fellow, has been appointed as a Trustee of the Churches Conservation Trust. He will build on Oxford’s work and research on (and with) the heritage sector to support the national charity which cares for over 350 buildings, attracting almost two million visitors per year. He said:

I’m hugely excited to join theCCT to help further develop the organisation’s links with universities. The future of the historic parish church is one of the most pressing heritage issues of our time, and I’m convinced that collaborations across sectors will be key to ensuring a sustainable future.
