Great Transitions

The Oxford Martin School invites Expressions of Interest by 5pm on 28 February 2017 on researchable questions in the areas of:

  • Digital /AI Horizons - Normative Frontiers
  • Transition to the Post-Carbon Society
  • Zoonoses and Pandemics
  • African Futures

This is primarily a partnership scheme: the School will give preference to proposals which are able to demonstrate a commitment and ability to secure matching and other funds, although the School will actively work with successful applicants to achieve this. We anticipate that the Oxford Martin School will contribute up to a total of £1 million per project over a period of two to five years.

 Open House meetings

The School will host an Open House meeting on each theme and hope that each session will prove a valuable opportunity to explore, in an open-minded forum, possible research programmes, meet and exchange ideas with potential collaborators, and to deepen understanding of the School and its funding process. The School strongly encourages all interested in applying to attend (register).
