Have you ever researched a National Trust property or collection?

Oxford University has just embarked on a two year knowledge-exchange project with the National Trust which aims to create a digital knowledge-bank of historical information about properties and places in order to enhance visitor experience both onsite and online. For more information on the Trusted Source project, in addition to details on how to contribute, please visit http://torch.ox.ac.uk/trusted-source.

As we are at the beginning of the project, we are keen to hear of any research projects - large or small - which reference the National Trust's portfolio in some way; be it an entire thesis on one property, a case-study on a landscape, research on a property's former inhabitant, or a single reference to one painting or piece of furniture.

If you have worked with any of the above, we would be hugely grateful if you could send the following information to alice.purkiss@humanities.ox.ac.uk:

Name:

Department:

Summary of National Trust related research (including details/link to outcomes if available):

Academia.edu or other online research profile (if possible):

This information will help us to build a better picture of how the two institutions already interact, and will enable us to best formalise our research relationship through the Trusted Source project.
