OCCT Events in Hilary Term 2016

Dear OCCT friends

We have an AMAZING term in store! We have some fabulous poetry-related events: Sasha Dugdale will be reading her workStephen Romer and Valentina Gosetti will be discussing the translation of contemporary French poetry with Emma Wagstaff and Nina Parish, and the Fiction and Other Minds seminar will be taking a comparative, cognitive approach to poetry. Later in the term we have a seminar on Korean literature and translation in dialogue with the circulation and translation of Indian language texts in South and East-Asia in the 19th century. Our final event of term will focus on gender in intercultural contexts from two complementary perspectives. Our graduate-led discussion group will be taking place on Mondays on a fortnightly basis (starting in Week 2) on the theme of Intermediality.

For a detailed description of our individual events, refer to  http://www.occt.ox.ac.uk/events.
