ROAR is a partnership between charities and arts organisations from across Oxfordshire, who have joined together to learn and promote inclusive practices for disabled artists and audiences.

ROAR Festival 2021 takes place from 25 to 31 October, featuring online Q&As, resources & advice, alongside fun interactive workshops. You can see the full programme here.

TORCH is a proud supporter of the Festival and we are co-hosting a panel event about accessibility within the theatre industry on Friday 29 October, 11am. All are encouraged to attend whether you are someone with lived experience and interest in theatre, or you'd like to join us in learning more about inclusive practice.

Initially hosted by Ark-T, this year's first ever digital ROAR Festival is co-chaired by Oxford Playhousepromoting inclusivity and advocating for social reform alongside disabled young people. As a collective, ROAR believes in accessible opportunities for everyone.

If you are an arts organisation or member of the University interested in joining or supporting ROAR, please contact Ruth Moore, TORCH Theatre & Performance Officer.
