Grade 6: £29,176 - £34,804 p.a. (pro rata)
The Connecting Researchers and Oxfordshire Theatres project is seeking a Project Officer to coordinate and deliver a programme of activities, develop partnerships, and support co-creation of new shows and projects between researchers and local/regional theatres. The post is part-time at 0.6 FTE and fixed-term.
The postholder will draft case studies and reports, efficiently organise theatre and performance events that involve University input, contribute ideas to developing a methodology to encourage University-theatre collaboration, and support the evaluation of the project. The project is an extension of a prior AHRC-funded cultural engagement initiative to identify areas for collaboration (Connecting Oxfordshire Theatres) and the postholder will work closely with the TORCH Theatre and Performance network.
In order to carry out this role effectively, the postholder must have experience of working with theatres or performance-based organisations. This role will require overseeing and also scoping out new potential relationships with theatres, and/or creative industry partners, helping to generate high-quality, high profile events and meetings based in Oxford.
Applications must be submitted online. You will be required to upload a CV and supporting statement as part of your application.
The deadline for applications is 12.00 noon on Wednesday 5 February 2020
