Violence Studies Oxford host scholars of violence from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds within and beyond the humanities and social sciences to present the findings of their original research. We are particularly keen to hear from those who research violence in minute detail as a separate phenomenon to war.
This year we will be running panel events, single speaker & respondent seminars, and a workshop, as well as launching a regular blog. The fruits of which we are hoping will be the first special edition journal dedicated to the work of violence research
