Sarah Molinari (CUNY) This talk explores the local effects of debt capture through Puerto Rico’s public schools. While school closures register the dismantling of various social fabrics, they also have provided spaces for new forms of intergenerational resistance through occupation, mutual aid, and the construction of alternative social infrastructures.
