Early Medieval Britain and Ireland

The Early Medieval Britain and Ireland Network seeks to nurture new individual and institutional relationships among the many academics and students at Oxford whose research focuses in some way on the early medieval British Isles, its archaeology, history, languages and literatures. We also aim to bring the most current, pioneering research of the university to new audiences, both across disciplines and into the wider community. Throughout the academic year (2018–19), we are organizing a series of events, while we are also collaborating with local schools to create new, long-lasting content for the study of early medieval Britain and Ireland.
