We are excited to announce as one of the highlights of this term a meeting with the London-based cook and writer Jago Rackham. His work celebrates greed—in his eyes, correctly understood, a virtue. He writes about eating, drinking, cooking and the politics and culture of all of the above on his Substack, as well as reviewing restaurants for The Observer. His first book, To Entertain, is out in Spring 2026.
His beautiful culinary creations, which he describes ‘as if a kind of quite clever bear was trying to cook’, can be found on his Instagram page (@ecstasy_cookbook).
