Mesut Uyar is Associate Professor of Ottoman military history at the University of New South Wales, Canberra. Specialising in late Ottoman and modern Turkish military history and war studies, his publications include “The Ottoman Defence Against the Anzac Landing 25 April 1915” (2015) and “A Military History of the Ottomans” (2009, co-authored with Edward Erickson). Lecture open to all.
