An Olive Grove in Ends: In Conversation with Moses McKenzie

Pink background with a black and white logo of the rad cam and a face, and clenched fists. The words 'race and resistance' are painted in red over the top.

Join us this Friday for a discussion with Moses Mckenzie on his debut novel: An Olive Grove in Ends. Moses' work explores the realities of black working-class life through the lens of love, religion, and family. As well as the book itself, this dialogue will also touch on wider questions of racism, masculinity, economic divides, and the purpose of black literature.

The event will take place in the TORCH Seminar Room (3rd floor) and lunch will be provided.

If you would like an extract of the book, please email caine.lewin-turner@exeter.ox.ac.uk
