We would like to share with you an event that promises to be a highlight of this term: a farm walk at FarmED! This is an interactive event in which attendees will go on a guided tour of FarmED to learn about (and see, smell, hear, and taste!) their sustainable farming practice and share their own thoughts and experiences about food, agriculture, and beyond. Below is a little more information about this wonderful organization located in Chipping Norton.

FarmED is a 107-acre educational demonstration farm in the Cotswolds, focussing on the importance of regenerative agriculture, diversity and sustainability in our farming, food and environmental systems. FarmED offers a programme of courses, talks and events highlighting and educating on a range of food, farming and environmental topics and boasts an award winning farm-to-fork cafe, serving locally grown regenerative and organic produce.

It all starts with the soil.

FarmED has generously agreed to provide a free farm walk for up to 25 members of our Network in week 7 on Wednesday 4 March 2026 at 11.30am - 1.30pm.

Please note that, unfortunately, we are unable to cover transportation expenses for those who will be going on the farm walk. However, FarmED is only a short train-then-car ride away from Oxford (about 15 minutes on the train, then 10 minutes in a car)! Once the sign-up form closes, we will reach out to attendees to help coordinate the most economical means of transport from Charlbury train station to FarmED.
