Bringing the final weekend of the Ashmolean’s Andy Warhol exhibition off with a grand finale, this LiveFriday will focus on portraits across the Museum and beyond. What does your image say about you? Find out with the creative communities at The Oxford Old Fire Station. Artist Collective brooke and black will reveal community exhibition “Beyond the Balcony,” with a series of responses to the portrait of Fanny Klaus by Edouard Manet. The Ashmolean will present an exploration of portraiture from mummies to Manet and from sculpture to portraiture, with hands on workshops in the galleries alongside live performances and music inspired by the portraits in the museum. Please click here for more details and to buy tickets.
There will be a TORCH hotspot with bite-size talks at the LiveFriday in the Mallet Gallery (Gallery 44, Level 2).
