Grave Stones: Panel-Led Workshop 2

texture of the memorial to the murdered jews of europe

This workshop will explore the significance of plastic commemoration, both sacred and secular. Its objects of inquiry will include places of worship, funerary sites and sculpture, and memorial monuments. Investigating the interactions between space, place, object and memory, it will consider how we might create new commemorative forms for our own time and beyond.
