The Humanities Division is recruiting a Heritage Partnerships Coordinator to work within its professional services team during the secondment of Dr Oliver Cox on a British Academy Innovation Fellowship.

Heritage is one of four strategic priority areas for Oxford Humanities Division (alongside Theatre & Performance, Creative Industries, and Policy Engagement). We understand heritage as live, dynamic, performed and immersive. You will support our researchers, who are ideally placed to work with organisations to reshape narratives and understanding for new generations of audiences.

You will work to sustain and develop existing partnerships between the University of Oxford and external heritage organisations. We expect you to be active in facilitating connections between individual researchers, research groups, students, and professional services, in addition to supporting the delivery of collaborative activities, events and programmes.

With professional experience in the arts and/or heritage sectors, you will have excellent communication skills and be a strong team player with the personal credibility to build collaborations. You will be able to work independently to competing deadlines and with a wide range of stakeholders, showing flexibility to ensure complex projects are managed and effectively delivered.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your professional profile and build a large network of contacts across and beyond Oxford. The post is fixed term until 31 March 2023.

Applications must be made online. You will be required to upload a cv and a supporting statement as part of your application. The deadline for applications is 12:00 noon on 27th April 2022.
