Held in-person in the galleries at the Ashmolean, this practical workshop will provide an insight into education programming in university museums.
Under the expert guidance of Clare Cory (Head of Formal Learning and University Engagement) and Clare Coleman (Education Officer: Early Years to Key Stage 2), this workshop will enable attendees to create a school group session focussed on objects in the Ashmolean’s collections. We will consider audience needs, the curriculum and different learning styles, including a variety of approaches, imaginative engagement and creativity.
