The current submission deadline is Friday 3 February 2023. Please note: departmental approval is required by the deadline - submissions should be made in time for departments to review and approve applications in advance of the deadline (minimum 1 week).

Details:
The Humanities Cultural Programme (HCP) welcomes applications from students (UG/PGT) for up to £500 to facilitate future student-led creative project powered by humanities research. Funding can be sought for the following digital or in person activities: events, workshops, performances, artistic creation or co-creation, small-scale exhibitions and match-making. Successful applicants will also receive in-kind support including: advertising through TORCH’s website and social media; administration support for travel; catering; venue; equipment/technical bookings; advice on best practice; and space on the TORCH online blog. Please note: Postgraduate Students are not eligible to apply for this fund and should apply for the HCP Project Fund instead.
How are applications reviewed?
Applications are reviewed against HCP’s strategic mission and are assessed on deliverability, affordability/value, and reach. Expenditure must be agreed in advance with the HCP team and funding must be spent within 12 months of award.
How are applications submitted?
Applications are submitted via IRAMS. Applications must include a completed Case for Support (see link below). Applications must be submitted by an individual with a University of Oxford Single Sign-On (SSO) account. Applicants without an SSO are advised to contact the HCP team (hcp@torch.ox.ac.uk).
Applications are accepted termly. The deadlines for each call are given above – the deadline for applications is 5pm on the date given. Only complete applications that are received by the deadline will be reviewed. Applicants are notified of the outcome of applications within 4 weeks of closing dates.
