CANCELLED: Humanities entrepreneurship? Lessons from historians turned entrepreneurs

Simon Duffy MBE and Nicholas Walters

This event has been cancelled, with a future rescheduling in the works. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Join us at the Oxford Foundry for a panel discussion and Q&A with Simon Duffy MBE (Founder of Bulldog Skincare and Waken Mouthcare) and Nicholas Walters (Founder & CEO at Hopster TV) – both graduated from the University of Oxford with history degrees, and both have gone on to become highly acclaimed entrepreneurs.

In conversation with Anna Zakonyi – a current History and Italian student and President of Oxford Women in Business Society - our guest speakers will share practical advice from their experiences moving from a history degree to entrepreneurship, what entrepreneurial thinking can bring to your life and career prospects, what skills you can show off from your degree, and how you can leverage them as an entrepreneur, what skills you should be developing to help you thrive in the future world of work, and much more.

The fireside chat will be followed by Q&A, with drinks and canapés.

For students in the Humanities only. This event is delivered in partnership with the Faculty of History at the University of Oxford.
