The Hindsight Project of LRF’s Heritage and Education Centre translates LRF’s evidence-based insight approach to history. It imagines history as a source of insight for tackling current problems and serving a sustainable future. In this micro-internship, you will research and produce a literature review and blog article using the Heritage and Education Centre’s digital collections to see what insight on a current safety challenge can be gained from the past. Your work will also add to our understanding of historic safety issues and interventions since the mid-19th century.
Candidates will be considered from any academic discipline. You will need to demonstrate:
Good written communication skills.
An interest in history or science in society.
Some interest in maritime heritage, shipping or ports may be useful but not required.
