Maths and Architecture
Part of the In Numbers programme
Maths and Architecture panel discussion. Join architect Hugh Conway Morris, who specialises in the conservation of historic buildings, and the series' resident mathematician Jamshid Derakhshan, Lecturer in Pure Mathematics at St Hilda's College.
In Numbers is a new eight-part programme of panel discussions and poetry workshops exploring how mathematics underpins the historical mind of Oxford. In odd weeks we will hear from leading academics on the ways in which mathematics interacts with the humanities. In even weeks, poetry workshops will draw on these discussions.
Events are free and all are welcome. To find out more, email email@example.com.
