O’Reilly Theatre, Keble College, Oxford

Jason has abandoned Medea and their two children, instead choosing to remarry the daughter of Kreon, king of Corinth. Hearing of Medea's hateful cursing of this marriage, Kreon banishes Medea and the children from Corinth. Medea has one day before she must leave, during which she carries out her plot for 'justice'.

Medea is not just a story about gods and kings, myths and legends, but about love, family and betrayal. Beneath the wails and passionate outcries is a woman who has been deeply wronged by society.

Khameleon Productions presents their take on Medea in an all BAME production, merging music with spoken word and movement.
