Memorable Objects: Postgraduate Training Day

texture of the memorial to the murdered jews of europe

This training day in object-based research methods at the Pitt Rivers Museum is a unique opportunity to draw on one of Oxford’s prime resources and will bring together postgraduates in the humanities and social sciences. The Pitt Rivers Museum has an extraordinary collection of memorial artefacts from around the world as well as a team experienced in training scholars in object-handling, and the skills and knowledge acquired will be transferable to objects (including photographs and texts) arising in the postgraduates’ research.
