Practise Your Presentation

presentation skills image

Do you have a presentation coming up? Would you like the opportunity to practise your presentation and receive feedback from your peers?

If the answer to any of these questions is YES, this series of workshops is for you.

Each workshop has a capacity of 8 people, who will take it in turn to present an excerpt from their presentation. Each micro-presentation must have a maximum duration of 7 minutes and 3 slides. The other participants will provide structured, written feedback on your presentation, which you can take away with you and use to develop and improve your presentation and delivery techniques.

Due to the small-scale and reciprocal nature of these workshops, you must:

  • commit to staying for the duration of the session
  • only sign up for one of these workshops within this term.

Latecomers who arrive after the first presentation has started will not be admitted to the session.

Please note that these workshops are open to researchers within the Humanities Division. The participants in each session will be from a mixture of Humanities disciplines, so feedback will focus on your presentation technique, not the content.
