Common Ground & TORCH present "REIMAGINING A LIBERATED CURRICULUM"
University curricula in the majority of disciplines are still dominated by white, male, straight and able-bodied voices. But curricula that fail to reflect all perspectives, lives, experiences and histories fundamentally inhibit learning and teaching.
Join us for the keynote panel of the Festival of Liberated Curricula, featuring six guest speakers, including academics, activists and journalists, where we'll explore possibilities of how curricula can be liberated in any and all academic disciplines.
WHY do curricula need to be liberated?
WHAT is stopping us?
WHICH methods can we use now?
This is an active, participatory panel as we learn together and come up with ideas collaboratively on how to liberate curricula.
Tickets are free and can be booked via Eventbrite.
