In 2020-22, Tom Hammick has been artist-in-residence at Glyndebourne Opera.  In this second film of our series, he talks to Professor Kate McLoughlin about his stunning woodcuts of Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Così fan tutte, Beethoven's Fidelio, Rossini's Il Turco in Italia, Janáček's Kátá Kabanová and Stravinsky's The Rake's Progress. Tom and Kate discuss silence and solitude, freedom and the sea, what men and women don't talk about, the meaning of colour, and the power of a single kiss.  Join us for the conversation and to enjoy Tom's gorgeous art-works.
