TORCH Talks: Cities for Everyone: Can creativity, arts and culture contribute to more liveable cities?
More than half of the world’s population lives in cities. The UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development includes objectives around making cities more inclusive, resilient and sustainable, and it identifies culture and creativity as one of the essential tools for action. How can the arts and culture be at the centre of innovation and regeneration? And at the same time can creativity bring together local communities, helping them thrive and promoting their wellbeing?
11 March 2026, 12.30pm lunch, 12.45pm - 1.45pm discussion.
Room 00.063, Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford
