The Trans Studies Working Group is an emergent cohort of scholars, artists, and activists that serves as an institutional base for trans studies at Oxford, and that seeks to nurture cross-disciplinary trans thought within and beyond the university.
Our Week 2 seminar on Critical Pedagogies will take place on 30 January 2026, 4pm-6pm, at Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities. All critical perspectives that attend to trans as analytic, methodology, orientation, or praxis, or to its intersections with critical race, gender, sexuality, and disability studies, are welcome. Assigned readings will be distributed before each seminar meeting.
